Child Safety at Bright Choice Day Nursery

Here at the Jancett Group of Day Nurseries, security is of absolute priority and means that our policies and procedures are updated annually.

We have recently installed an entry phone system to Startel, Pollyanna, Jancett Day Nursery and Baby Unit and our parents and guardians must use and keep private the entry code they are allocated. Visitors to the above nurseries must report via the entry phone system first and are required to speak with the nursery manager before being granted access into the nursery grounds.

Parents and guardians for Gayime Day Nursery will report to the front entrance of the nursery, the building and grounds of which is set safely back off the main road.

Bright Choice Day Nursery is situated in the grounds of Bishopsford Community School in Morden. The main school gate is kept locked and access to the nursery is via the side gate on Llanthony Road. All visitors wil report to the nursery entrance and await the manager to grant them access.

To avoid unauthorised access, our parents and guardians are reminded of the dangers of "tailgaiting" and asked never to hold the door open for anybody else entering the building behind them.

The grounds of each of our nursery or baby unit settings are totally safe and the child or baby is always within sight of the childcare practitioner.

Jancett staff are responsible, experienced and professional childcare practitioners, all qualified in childcare at levels 2 or higher and CRB checked.

At all times, security at our day nurseries and Playsafe After school Clubs adheres strictly to HAS and Ofsted regulations.
