Hello and welcome to Peanuts After School Club.
About us:
Peanuts After School Club is situated in Purley Oaks Primary School within the school hall, complete with our kitchen facilities. Our manager Sheila holds a Playwork level 3 NVQ qualification. Her staff team includes Louise - who has a level 2 in Early Years and a Level 3 NVQ in Playwork.
Opening times:
Peanuts club is open from end of school to 6.30pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays.)
Routine:
The club welcomes both junior and infant class age children and our staff will meet and greet every child at a designated area before the club session begins.
The children are settled in their key worker groups at the start of each session and served their tea to start with. Then play begins after they have finished tea. Our programme of activities is varied and challenging, ensuring that all play opportunities are offered at each session. Each child can choose what they would like to do and are invited to join in activities, which at all times adhere to both equal opportunities and health and safety.
Exciting activities include dance and drama, face painting, games and puzzles, outings, recycling, homework, quiet corner, science club, cooking club, creative writing, messy play, quiz days, art and craft and DJ-ing and radio.
