Welcome to Rolo’s After School Club.
About us:
Rolo’s After School Club is situated in the upper hall and lower hall of Ridgeway Primary School. The manager is Susie, who hold a level 3 NVQ qualification in Playwork. Her staff team are Sarah Jane - who is working towards her NVQ level 3 in Playwork, Farsanna - who holds an Early Years level 3 NVQ, Christine who has a Playwork level 2 NVQ qualification and Natalie, who is working towards her Health and Social Care level 3 qualification.
Opening times:
Rolo’s club is open from end of school to 6.30pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays.)
Routine:
The club session begins every day when the children are collected from school in a designated area overseen by our club staff.
Tea is served while the children are in their key worker groups, and we provide both indoor and outdoor play facilities throughout the session.
The activities we offer the children are varied and challenging, ensuring that all play opportunities are offered at each session. Each child can choose what they would like to do and are invited to join in activities, which at all times adhere to both equal opportunities and health and safety.
Exciting activities include dance and drama, face painting, games and puzzles, outings, recycling, homework, quiet corner, science club, cooking club, creative writing, messy play, quiz days, art and craft and DJ-ing and radio.

"Staff are good role models. They talk to children in a calm and caring manner, they listen and show respect to children and show value for their contributions." "Children’s dietary needs are well catered for. Varied and nutritious snacks / meals are offered."
