Introduction

 

Welcome to Dazzlers After School and Holiday Club.

About us:
Dazzlers are situated within Dorchester Primary School. The club is run by Manager, Marie along with her staff team, Louise - who holds an NNEB qualification, and Louisa who has a level 2 qualification in Early Years.

Opening times:
Dazzlers club is open from end of school to 6.30pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays.) Before club starts, the children are met by our staff at a designated area within the school.
Routine:
Upon arrival at the club, the infants are given their tea in their key worker groups and then play time begins. The junior children will be provided with their tea and invited to play during the session.

The club provides varied and challenging activities, ensuring that all play opportunities are offered at each session. Each child can choose what they would like to do and can join in activities, which at all times adhere to both equal opportunities and health and safety.

Activities can include dance and drama, face painting, games and puzzles, outings, recycling, homework, quiet corner, science club, cooking club, creative writing, messy play, quiz days, art and craft, DJing and radio.

What Ofsted say about Dazzlers:
"The provision for helping children achieve well and enjoy what they do is outstanding. Children are enthusiastic and confident in the club’s environment". "There is a very good partnership with parents which contributes to children’s well being and confidence within the club."
