Introduction
Welcome to Beano’s After School and Holiday Club.
About us:
Beano’s are situated within Barrow Hedges Primary School and the club is in two club portacabins. The club is run by the manager Colette who has a foundation degree in Early Years and a Playwork Level 3 NVQ. Colette's team comprises of Playworker, Louse - who holds a level 2 Playwork qualification, and Playworker, Daniel. The club is registered for 22 children during term time and 40 children for holiday club.
Opening times:
Beano’s club is open from end of school to 6.30pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays.) Our club telephone number is 07841 563 280. The children are met by our club staff at a designated area before club commences.
Routine:
Upon arrival at the club, the infants are given their tea in their key worker groups and then play time begins. The junior children will then be provided with their tea and invited to play during the session.
The club provides varied and challenging activities, ensuring that all play opportunities are offered at each session. Each child can choose what they would like to do and can join in activities, which at all times adhere to both equal opportunities and health and safety.
Activities can include dance and drama, face painting, games and puzzles, outings, recycling, homework, quiet corner, science club, cooking club, creative writing, messy play, quiz days, art and craft and DJing and radio.
