Introduction

 

Welcome to Gaytime Day Nursery & Baby Unit.

We would love to take this opportunity to take you on a "virtual" tour through our wonderful detached house, starting with a delightful Jolly Giant mural who welcomes the children to step inside and explore.

Our nursery offers children aged 3 months to 5 years the opportunity to enter into a world of make believe. As soon as you walk in the front door, there are colourful murals of giraffes and monkeys climbing the wall and leading the children safely up the stairs to another magical floor.

Each of our vibrant and welcoming rooms are set up specifically for the children's use. The ground floor consists of a large classroom used exclusively for 3-5 year olds who follow the Early Learning Goals. Kitchen, bathrooms, staff rooms and the managers office are also housed on the ground floor.

Our first floor consists of the baby room, baby kitchen, bathrooms, a joint playroom and a further multi-purpose room.

The external areas allow for easy drop off and parking at the front, along with a secluded, secure garden at the back for children to enjoy. Here you will find a room for unlimited imaginative games set amongst the flower gardens and rabbit home. The safety checked climbing frames and other adventurous equipment have safer surfacing areas for ’softer landings’. Our garden, shared with Startel Day Nursery, is large and attractive and allows for many forms of play.There is also an outside toilet for the children to use.

We are open between 7.30am and 6.15pm, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year, so please arrange to visit us and take a look for yourself.
